Centromere antibodies

Centromere antibodies occur primarily in patients with the calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, esophageal dysfunction, sclerodactyly, and telangiectasis (CREST) syndrome variant of systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). CREST syndrome is characterized by the following clinical features: calcinosis, Raynaud's phenomenon, esophageal hypomotility, sclerodactyly, and telangiectasia.
